My name is Alice Wangari, I am a deaf woman living in Dandora and I worked on this pattern of a beautiful cottage. It took me three months to complete the piece. This project has helped me in taking care of my family. In our meetings I feel very motivated to know that disability is never inability. The deaf community is sometimes forgotten in the society but we are grateful to Carakana for coming to our aid.
