I am Daniel Gyekyi Gyan,a Ghanaian born in Greater Accra Region, i discovered my talent at a younger age, and went to the Salem Senior High School in Accra to study art, i then went to the Ghanatta College of Art and Design to improve upon and to polish my talent in Art. Today i work in a studio called Gyekyi_D Art. Each of my characters is masterfully captured with a warmth, honestly and intensity, or raw energy as i bring my subject to life by using Acrylic paint together with modeling paste to create a great impression on the subject, i also use a pallet knife to create a small Small strokes on my subject matter. As a seasoned painter i masterfully communicate with the people in my society through my contemporary paintings, my subject matter sometimes are models, culture children and social life, in my series of works depicts African models and models in the diaspora. Much of my works, include my portraits stands proud at a sizable dimension and still manage to captivate audience and art lovers. Occasionally i do Abstract.
